PIBE CHORRO

SYNOPSIS: GABRIEL’s face imposes as the identikit of a presumed young offender. It is the image of the danger and that is why he should be behind bars. GABRIEL is sixteen years old and he is just another kid that was born condemned. The voice of VICENTE ZITO LEMA (78) recites his poetry about the kids of the poverty that kill because they have already born dead, and he wonders, ‘resignation, always? /who is going to kiss those cold lips?’ GABRIEL never stole. With an aesthetic of collage, “Pibe Chorro” is an essay film that works with the poetry of Vicente Zito Lema as the thread of the narration in order to question the dominant point of view over the youth of the working classes.
